Redeemer Evangelical Lutheran Church The

Parish Information

“ Say among the nations, “The Lord reigns.” Psalm 96:10 (ESV)

Redeemer and Pastor Taylor are celebrating 20 Years Together.

To mark this milestone, Redeemer members are writing a devotional book of testimonies. Each testimony is to be 100-200 words in length and is to be accompanied by a photo of the writer. It is preferred that each testimony is prepared by one person (not a family—a family of five, for instance, would submit five testimonies). The goal is to have 365 testimonies collected so that the book will be available as a daily devotional book for use in the year 2022.

Each testimony responds to this question:

How has Christ Jesus our Redeemer shown His love?

Particularly sought are stories and specific examples in your life. Clearly, people will have many stories they want to share, but the goal is to choose a specific story and write about how Jesus did what He did in your life.

Please email your Word Doc (not a PDF) and picture to pastor@redeemerlutheranbronx.org. If you cannot email it, please submit it on paper to Pastor. We would like your testimony and your picture no later than July 1.

HONORING GRADUATES.

Each year, we honor all those who are graduating— completing a particular portion of their formal education (kindergarten, fifth grade, eighth grade, high school, college, graduate school). If you are being graduated this year or already were graduated this year, please indicate your name to the Parish Office by calling Carol Sandblom at 718.324.1288 extension 101 or emailing her at office@redeemerlutheranbronx.org. When you do, please indicate your school, your grade level of graduation, and whatever degree you may have or will be receiving. We intend to honor all the graduates during the Liturgies on June 26-27, so please be sure to contact the Parish Office no later than June 20.
