Redeemer ARMS

Always Rejoicing in Movement and Song

REHEARSALS FOR LITURGICAL DANCERS. ARMS typically rehearses on Saturdays from 3PM until 5PM. On Saturdays before the Sundays on which ARMS dances during the Liturgies, rehearsals begin at 2PM. Please watch for announcements about adjustments in the rehearsal schedule rehearsals have been cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Arts in Mission-NY, a musical outreach of our sister congregation, St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church, is now offering free online YouTube music activities for families with toddlers. Learning to Assist Parents and Seniors

MEDICAL EQUIPMENT. If you have need of some medical equipment (crutches, wheel chair, travel chair, canes, etc.), please contact the Parish Office before your purchase things. People often donate these items to Redeemer so that they can be passed along to others for their use.

BEREAVEMENT SUPPORT GROUP IN WESTCHESTER. The Bereavement Center offers grief support services for children ages 4-18 whose parent or sibling has died, along with a separate group for their surviving parents. The center offers free group support for both English and Spanish speaking families, and free individual support for Spanish speaking families. Representatives from the center would be very happy to take the time to tell you more about the services provided. Also, if you know of a family that can benefit from our services please have them contact the center at 914-414-9985 or at

Redeemer face masks are for sale for $5.00 a piece.  Sleak, light weight, durable, and protective, these masks carry Redeemer’s logo on them (Be sure the logo is on your right cheek so that it is right side up for those who see it!).

LEGS is hosting an Advent Dance Brunch on Saturday, December 4, 2021 from 2PM to 4PM. This event is digital (via Zoom). More information will follow but be sure to save the date and time now for this day of hope.

PRAYER CANDLES. Beginning on Easter Sunday, LIPS is selling devotional prayer candles so that people may pray and meditate on the Holy Scriptures when they are away from the church building. Candles are $5 a piece.


LIPS is hosting fellowship on the November 6-7 (after the Saturday and Sunday Liturgies). Thank you, Redeemer LIPS, for hosting this.

WRISTS is selling Redeemer gaiters. These pieces of apparel are designed to go around one’s neck and come up over one’s nose and mouth as a face covering. They fit nicely over other masks as well. Both black ones and crimson (red) ones are available for purchase. Gaiters cost $8 a piece.
