Our 80th Anniversary Fund helps us share our 80th
Anniversary Theme: “Witnessing the Living Christ.”
The Voters’ Assembly had decided that the Organ Fund
and Air Conditioning Fund would be brought together
with the 80th Anniversary Fund to “streamline” our
fundraising. An organ and the paying back of
ourselves for the air conditioning are part of the
80th Anniversary Fund. As we have learned, there
are multiple income flows for the fund, including
gifts from wills, gifts from outside agencies, 80th
Anniversary Fundraisers (T-shirts, Journal, etc.),
and pledges from people. We have already been given
over 15% of our 1 million dollar goal not counting
any pledges. Praise God from whom all blessings
flow! Here is where we currently stand:
Gifted to Us So Far:
$204,034 Goal: $1,000,000
The money will certainly come and can come as we
devote ourselves to “the apostles’ teaching, the
fellowship, the breaking of the bread, and the
prayers” as the Body of Christ. There is no need to
doubt God and His promises and no need to forget
what God tells us through the Angel Gabriel’s
conversation with St. Mary the Mother of our Lord:
“Nothing is impossible with God.” Let’s all do our
part to get to our goal as the work continues and as
we are “witnessing the Living Christ.” |
