CONFIRMATION CLASSES ARE IN SESSION for those in
grades 7 on Wednesday at 5PM. Those who are not baptized,
not receiving Holy Communion and not confirmed should be
with us. Those who are recently confirmed should also come
to serve as sponsors. Bring your questions to Catechist
Rosa Cruz-Molina or Pastor.
SUNDAY SCHOOL IS IN SESSION. Classes are on Sundays
at 9:45AM with breakfast served at 9:30AM. Register for
Sunday School and grow in the faith. Sunday School is for
people ages 3 and up…including adults!
CHILDREN’S CHOIR. Rehearsals are on Thursdays at
6PM. For more information, please speak with Mr. Daniel
Leguizamon.
YOUTH CHOIR. Rehearsals are on Fridays at 7PM. For
more information, please speak with Pastor.
GET HELP
WITH HOMEWORK. If you are interested, please speak with
Jeanette Van Duyne or LuJuana Butts. Homework Help meets on
Mondays and Thursdays with refreshments at 3PM and devotions
at 3:45PM. The high school component meets at 6PM. |

Information |
THE SUNDAY
SCHOOL meets on Sundays at 9:45AM. Children ages
three through high school learn from qualified and
experienced Christian educators by singing, reading,
writing, coloring, constructing crafts, and
conversing as they experience our Lord’s great love
for us. Ms. Carol Sandblom is Redeemer’s
Director of Religious Education. She also
coordinates our summer Vacation Bible School for
children, youth and adults.
THE CHILDREN’S CHOIR
(ages 5-11)
practices at 6PM on Thursdays. They sing at least
once a month during the Sunday Liturgies. Mr.
Daniel Leguizamon is our music director.
HOMEWORK HELP is a ministry of Redeemer that
provides after school tutoring for children in
Grades 1-12. The ministry targets children from
Redeemer, the Wakefield area in the Bronx, and other
surrounding communities. Dr. Lujuana
Butts and Ms. Jeanette Van Duyne serves as
co-directors of Homework Help. |

Events |
|
LIPS LUNCHEON. The LIPS luncheon is scheduled for
March 13 at 10:30AM. The theme is “Peace and Relaxation.”
The speaker will be Deacon Gonzalez. More details will
follow.
THE GENLTEMEN’S BREAKFAST will be on Saturday, March
20 at 9AM. Please mark your calendars and plan to attend.
The speaker for this event is the Honorable Ruben Diaz,
President of the Borough of the Bronx. |
