PASTOR IS PRESENTING AT A CONFERENCE AT
CONCORDIA. The conference is called, “Global
Music and Traditional Worship: Seeking Common
Ground.” It is hosted by the Cade Center at
Concordia College. The conference costs $45 per
registrant (including the catered lunch). It will
be held in the Sommer Center and the Schultz
Chapel. Hope Wittrock has signed up to go. If you
want to go, please indicate that on the sign up
sheet in the undercroft or call Carol Sandblom at
the parish office for more information. You may

ORGAN CONCERT. Trinity Lutheran Church (2125
Watson Avenue in the Castle Hill section of the
Bronx, 10472) is hosting an organ concert on Sunday,
November 9, 2008 at 4PM. Lois Lehrer is the
organist. A free will offering will be collected.

INSTALLATION. Pastor Jeffrey Browning is
being installed as the Pastor of The Lutheran Church
of the Resurrection TODAY at 3PM. Resurrection is
located at 420 Stewart Avenue in Garden City.
Pastor Froehlich (First Vice-President of the
Atlantic District) is presiding and Pastor Taylor is
preaching. Let us keep Pastor Browning, his wife
and The Lutheran Church of the Resurrection in our
prayers.
INSTALLATION. Pastor Marc Danzis is being
installed as the Pastor of St. John Lutheran Church
in Glendale, New York TODAY at 3:30PM. The Rev. Dr.
David H. Benke is presiding at this installation.

INSTALLATION. The Rev. Dr. Elwin Johnson
Rethinasamy is being installed as Urban Mission
Strategist for the New York City area on Sunday,
September 28 at 10AM at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church
in Brooklyn, New York where The Rev. Dr. David H.
Benke is the Pastor. Let us pray for Dr.
Rethinasamy and his family as he serves our Lord in
